24K genuine gold leaf can be used for many projects: from picture frame moldings, to automobile paint jobs, even on foods like cakes! You can be sure that genuine gold will raise the monetary and aesthetic value of any project you use it on.
Do you plan on water gilding? Make sure to check out our water gilding supplies, such as our Hide Glue, Gesso Chalk, and our variety of Clay Boles which come in Red, Black, and Yellow.
Loose Leaf for indoors, Transfer Leaf for Outdoors
Loose leaf can easily be blown away–the slightest gust of wind will send your gold leaf flying! We recommend you only use loose leaf indoors with specialized tools, like the Gilder’s Tip and the Gilding Pad.
Transfer leaf is gold leaf adhered to a sheet of wax paper, as a result this allows you can easily handle gold leaf for projects like gilding buildings or car paint jobs.
